Do you have the right setup?

Installing the app directly from APK is easy and free, but the followings are required.

• You have an Android phone or tablet. (iOS devices do not work.)
• You can use developer mode for your device. (See below.)

Steps to follow for installation

1. Enable the developer mode for your Android device. (You can disable it any time afterwards.)
   Most recent smartphone models can use the following method.
   1. Navigate to your smartphone's main Settings option.
   2. Tap About Phone.
   3. Rapidly tap the line that says Build Number seven times in a row
   4. A popup messge will indicate you are entering developer mode
   5. If your phone has lock screen enabled, you also need to enter your security credentials.
   
   After enabling the developer mode, the Settings option shows Developer Options menu. You can open the menu and set the Options button off if you like to disable the developer mode.

2. Click the button below and download the apk file onto your device.
   Accept the message warning installation from APK. (Alternatively, you can download it onto your computer and use USB connection to copy it onto your smartphone.)

3. Install the app.
   As soon as you download the file, your device may ask if you want to install the app from the downloaded apk. If not, open any file manager app (most Android phone comes standard with Files app from Google), find the downloaded apk file and then tap on it. It will ask your permission for using camera, which you need to accept.

4. Open the app.
   The installed app can be opened just like any other apps in your smartphone. AR Mail from Harbin is designed to work well when you hold your phone in the landscape direction.
